Salesbot - Link Your Email with Salesbot
The first step in sending emails to sales leads is, you guessed it, connecting your email with Salesbot. Salesbot works by sending email outreach to sales leads directly from your own email, and all responses from leads come directly back to your email. Salesbot does NOT send on your behalf, but allows you to directly send emails to leads via our integration.
Salesbot uses industry-standard OAUTH authentication, to connect your Gmail or Microsoft email domain with Salesbot. We're also SOC2 compliant, GDPR, and CCPA compliant, ensuring your messages and email remain secure (check out our privacy and security policies).
To set up the email integration between your system and Salesbot, click on either the Gmail (Google) or Microsoft email icons on the dashboard. Or, visit the Email Settings section of your account.
Then, walk through the brief, 1-step authentication and choose to accept the email linking. In some cases, you might be prompted by Google or Microsoft to select your email account (if you have multiple accounts on your computer). Choose the correct account, and accept.
If using Gmail to connect to Salesbot, it is CRITICAL that you select all options allowing access to your emails, otherwise, Salesbot will be unable to send/receive emails between yourself and sales leads. Salesbot ONLY asks for the minimum amount of permissions in order to send and receive emails to sales leads.
Once your email is linked with Salesbot, you can check the status of your email by heading to the Email Settings section located here. Prior to sending outreach to leads with Salesbot, it's imperative that you configure your email domain (or subdomains) properly. This includes having a warmed email account, setting up DKIM, DMARC and SPF. Read our in-depth guide on configuring your email domain, click-link tracking, and ensuring maximum deliverability.
Now that your email is linked to Salesbot, let's get started sourcing prospects!
