Many of you have a list of companies by domain that you'd like to use when searching for leads in Salesbot. Maybe you'd like to exclude (suppress) any leads that are from those company domains, or, you're only looking to include any leads from these company domains.

Company Domain Lists and Salesbot

Video Guide

Video Walkthrough

Here's a quick video walkthrough of using the new Company Domain feature, enjoy!

Formatting your Company Domain List

To get started with using company domain lists in Salesbot, first, create a CSV and format it with the following data.

Column A Header: Company Domain Name

Rows: up to 10,000 rows, each row has a single domain, similar to the example below.

Save the file as a CSV, then head to the 'Companies Advanced' section of the Salesbot search filters.

Uploading your Company Domain List

Once in the Companies Advanced section, under 'Company Domains', click to select the CSV from your local system. Then, choose one of the three options:

Must Have - Search leads ONLY matching companies in your domain list

Nice to Have - Sort the list of leads, with the matching company domains near the top first

Doesn't Have - Exclude any leads that currently work at companies in the company domain list

You also have the option of currently working there (default), previously working there, or currently or previously working there.

Searching Only your Company Domain List

To search leads ONLY in your list of company domains, select the 'Must Have' option, shown below.

Then, you'll see an updated count of leads matching all your search criteria on the right side. Click to save and see the search results.

Excluding Leads from your Company Domain List

Inversely, you can exclude or suppress leads from your search results by choosing the 'Doesn't Have' option.

Now, your search results will include all your search filters and EXCLUDE anyone in your list of company domains. Generally, the exclude/suppress option will yield MORE leads than the include option.

Adjusting Sorting Order by Your Company Domains

Choosing the 'Nice to Have' option will reorder your list of leads, showing those matching the company domains list higher in the search results.

This can be helpful if you don't really care about including or excluding leads from your company domain list, but want to see those results first.
