If you have an existing list of leads in your CRM or database, and you'd like to either suppress or enrich them using Salesbot's database of 680+ Million profiles, we make it easy.
You can upload a CSV of your current leads, and then enrich them by matching their profiles in our system to surface the most up to date data. Conversely, if you only want to find net new leads that don't already exist in your CRM, run a search and then suppress/exclude your uploaded list.

Uploading Your CSV
To get started, generate a sales lead CSV from your CRM or database with the following four fields:
First Name, Last Name, Email, LinkedIn, all as separate columns and headers. Note that you'll get the best 'matching' rate (where we match your uploaded leads with those in our system) when using all 4 columns of data, specifically a LI profile URL.
So your CSV for upload looks like this:
Salesbot supports uploading CSV's as large as 2.5MB in size, and up to 25,000 rows per upload. If you have a larger CSV, you'll need to break that up into smaller files--you can have up to 100,000 individual leads added to a single project for enhancement or suppression in a search.
Then, head to the CSV Upload section: https://app.salesbot.io/upload
To get started, choose your lead list/project from the pull down menu, or create a new lead list if it doesn't already exist.
Then, choose the status or category you'd like to use when uploading your leads. Your options are:
Often Used:
Sales Lead - Use this category if you're uploading leads that are already interested in your product, or if you're enhancing existing leads with matches in our system.
Reached Out Externally - Use this category if you want to exclude these leads from any matches in our system. You'll still need to exclude them via a filter, but this category says that you've already contacted these leads.
Infrequently Used:
New Opportunity - Use this category if you want to identify them as new sales lead opportunities.
Not Interested - Use this category if you want to identify them as being not interested (and possibly excluded later).
Snooze - Use this category if you want to identify these leads as being snoozed, or not interested but maybe for later.
After selecting the lead status, click the 'Choose CSV File' to select a file from your computer. Then, click 'Upload' on the upper right to start the upload process.
You'll get a confirmation popup letting you know the upload is in progress:
And, you'll receive an email letting you know the upload has completed (be patient!):
After uploading, head back to your project. You'll now have a few new options for including or excluding your uploaded sales leads, we'll cover both use cases here.
Searching Salesbot Using Your Uploaded CSV
Searching for New Sales Leads (excluding or suppressing your uploaded list of leads)
To search for new sales leads and exclude your uploaded list (we'll call this finding net new leads or prospects), first head to your project. Run a search as you typically would, then, under the 'Filters' option in the upper right, choose to "Hide Uploaded Prospects". This will exclude any matching leads from your uploaded list, showing you only the new prospects.
Searching for Leads using your Uploaded List
Inversely, if you'd like to ONLY search your list of uploaded list using our search filters (like saying who in my list matches these search criteria), then change the filter to 'Only Uploaded Prospects'.
Show All Matching Leads
And then the final use case is to show all prospects matching from Salesbot's database and your uploaded CSV. Choose the 'Show All Prospects', which is the default filter setting, to show everyone.
We hope you enjoy the CSV upload feature and find it useful! Any feedback, questions or suggestions, please reach out to support@salesbot.io.
