Step 3 - Qualifying--From Prospects to Sales Leads
Now that you've run an initial search, you'll want to decide which of the prospects you'd like to reach out to using Salesbot's automated email sequences. You've got lots of options here--you can enroll all prospects, single prospects, or any group of those.
Quick definition here--a 'Sales Lead' is a prospect who is qualified to be reached out to via email (they fit your requirements to be contacted via email). Not all prospects are leads, but once you reach out to or qualify a prospect, they're considered a Sales Lead.
Qualifying Prospects as Sales Leads
To qualify sales prospects as leads, it's easy--either start sending email outreach by enrolling them in an email campaign, or, change their status to 'Sales Lead'. Choose 'Select A Status' from the prospect status menu, and change to 'Sales Lead', that's it!
Setting a Sales Prospect's status as 'Sales Lead' via the status menu:
You can also change sales prospects to sales leads in bulk, by using the 'Select All' checkbox or by ticking the checkbox next to their names in the search results. Then choose 'More Actions' in the right panel, and change the status of up to 50 sales prospects in one click.
After moving sales prospects to sales leads, Salesbot will show those leads in a new category, aptly named 'Sales Leads'. You can see the current count or view those leads by clicking on Sales Leads in the left-side menu.
Once prospects are moved to the Sales Lead queue, you can start reaching out to them immediately, either individually or in bulk. Emailing sales leads in bulk is the best and fastest way to save time!
Alternatively, you can reach out to prospects directly from the search results--skip the qualifying stage and go right to emailing!
But before we can talk about emailing sales leads, let's do a quick overview of creating and editing email campaigns.
